Eurotrans Express uses text messaging to run day-to-day freight operations: dispatching loads to drivers, collecting proof of delivery and paperwork, coordinating pickups and appointments with customers, and answering people who ask about driving for us. This page explains what you are agreeing to, and how to stop at any time.
Consent is not a condition of purchase, employment, or service. You do not have to agree to text messages to work for us, to apply for a position, to book a load, or to receive any service. If you would rather be reached by phone or email, tell us and we will use that instead.
1. Who this applies to
We run three separate messaging streams. They have different audiences, different content, and different ways to join. Agreeing to one does not enrol you in another.
| Stream | Who receives it | How you join |
|---|---|---|
| Operations | Drivers, owner-operators and contractors currently running for us | You provide your mobile number during onboarding and confirm you want dispatch by text |
| Shipment coordination | Customers, brokers and facility contacts on an active load | You give us your number in connection with a specific shipment, or you text us first |
| Recruiting | People who have requested an employment application or asked about driving for us | You request an employment application and tick the optional SMS consent box |
2. What we send
- Load and dispatch information: assignments, pickup and delivery appointments, routing, and changes to either.
- Document requests: proof of delivery, bills of lading, receipts, and photographs of freight or equipment.
- Shipment coordination: status, ETA, detention and appointment messages with customers and brokers.
- Fuel and payment authorizations: fuel card codes, advance authorizations, and settlement notices.
- Safety and compliance notices: inspection reminders, hours-of-service items, weather and routing advisories, and equipment issues.
- Recruiting: replies to your application, interview and orientation scheduling, and information about open driver positions.
We do not send messages advertising unrelated products or services, and we do not message you on behalf of anyone else.
3. How to opt in
- Text START to 773-992-9833, or
- Give us your mobile number and agree to texts during driver onboarding, or
- Tick the optional SMS consent box on our employment application request form, or
- Simply text us first about a load you are working on.
The consent box on the application form is never ticked in advance and you can submit the form without it. If you leave it unticked, we will contact you about your application by phone or email only.
4. How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message. You may also send CANCEL,END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE or STOPALL.
We will send one final message confirming you have been removed, and then stop. Opting out of texts does not affect your job, your application, or any load you are running. We will reach you by phone or email instead. To rejoin later, text START.
5. Getting help
Reply HELP to any message, call 773-992-9833, or emaildaniel@eurotransexpress.com.
6. Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with operational need. A driver on an active load may receive several messages in a day; someone who has applied for a position may receive only a few in total.Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Eurotrans Express does not charge for these messages and is not responsible for charges from your carrier.
7. Carriers and delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, and you should not rely on a text message alone for anything time-critical or safety-critical. Call us instead.
8. Age
This program is for people aged 18 or over.
