These terms govern the Eurotrans Express text messaging program. They apply when you exchange text messages with us at 773-992-9833 or at any other number we publish for messaging. They do not replace your driver agreement, owner-operator contract, employment terms, or any rate confirmation. Those documents govern the underlying relationship.
1. Agreeing to these terms
You agree to these terms when you opt in to the messaging program by any of the methods described on ourSMS Opt-In page. If you do not agree, do not opt in, or reply STOPto leave at any time.
2. What the service is
The program carries operational communication between Eurotrans Express and its drivers, contractors, customers, brokers and job applicants. The categories of message are listed on theSMS Opt-In page and form part of these terms.
Text messaging is not a system of record. Dispatch instructions, safety notices and payment authorizations sent by text are a convenience. Where a text conflicts with a signed rate confirmation, a driver agreement, or an instruction given by a dispatcher on a recorded line, the other document or instruction governs. If a message looks wrong, call us before acting on it.
3. Opting in and out
Opt in: text START to 773-992-9833, provide your number during onboarding, tick the optional SMS consent box on ouremployment application request form, or message us first.
Opt out: reply STOP, CANCEL, END,QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE or STOPALL. You will receive one confirmation and no further messages.
Consent is not a condition of employment, engagement, application, or of any transportation service.
4. Frequency, charges and delivery
Frequency varies with operational need and is not fixed. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan; Eurotrans Express does not charge for messages and is not responsible for carrier charges. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and delivery is not guaranteed.
5. Your responsibilities
- Only enrol a mobile number you control. Tell us promptly if your number changes or is reassigned.
- Do not use the program to send unlawful, threatening, harassing or deliberately false content.
- Do not send payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, driver’s licence images or medical information by text. If we need those, we will ask for them by a secure route.
- Do not read or reply to messages while driving. Stop safely first.

7. Suspension
We may suspend or remove any number from the program for misuse, at a carrier’s instruction, or because the number is no longer associated with an active driver, load or application. We will use another channel where we still need to reach you.
8. Privacy
Our handling of the information in and around these messages is described in thePrivacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The messaging program is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eurotrans Express is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from a message that was delayed, undelivered, misdirected, or intercepted in transit. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version, and material changes will be notified through the program itself. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
